LDS Privacy Statement

This document covers the Virtual Messenger (“VM”) application as well as this website. Any questions you may have related to this statement should be directed to support@virtualmessenger.net. Last Dimension Software collects information from various points in the Virtual Messenger application as well as this website. Information collected from our systems belongs solely to us.

Registration Information
When you set up a new account we ask you for information about yourself. This information will serve two purposes. One is for demographics which may be shared by our sponsors. The second purpose is for display to other users within the confines of the application. Sensitive information (i.e. age and ethnicity) is made public at your option. Your e-mail address will not be shared with other users by us, so regardless to what you choose to display, you are virtually anonymous unless you choose to reveal your true identity to other users. We do not request or store your name, street address, or phone number within our system. We may occasionally contact you via e-mail to share important information such as technical announcements when necessary.

Server Logs
Our Web servers collect information such as frequency of the visits, pages visited, and files downloaded. This information is only referenced by IP address. Our VM servers may log requests made by your interaction with the client. Text messages sent to other users are not logged. Since VM is engineered with a peer-to-peer methodology, our servers never receive the messages you send.

Aggregate Information
Any information we collect may be aggregated to provide us with valuable information such as demographics and usage patterns. Aggregate data is necessary for efficient administration of our system and to assist us with our marketing efforts. We reserve the right to share this information with third parties as necessary. This information will not personally identify the end user.

Announcements
You may be contacted with critical announcements via e-mail if necessary. These announcements will usually communicate technical issues which may have large impact on the system.

Security
Last Dimension Software takes reasonable precaution to prevent information from being lost, stolen, or misused. We can not guarantee that any of the aforementioned privacy rights will not be breached through the efforts of hackers or other malicious persons. We remain vigilant, however, against suspicious activity and will do our best to limit it.

Surveys
We may periodically conduct surveys in order to serve our customers better. Participation in these events is voluntary. Any information collected in such surveys may be linked to customer accounts.

Updating Personal Information
The registration information you provide may be altered at any time from within the application. To alter the registration form, select “User Info” the setup menu. You may request that your account and any related information stored in our database be removed by contacting us directly. Visit our Contact page to learn how to reach us.

Changes to Policy
Last Dimension software reserves the right to update this privacy statement at any time. Any changes will be immediately reflected upon this Website and anywhere else where this statement is currently posted by us. We will not use any personally identifiable information differently than stated within our statement without the consent of the involved party. We will seek permission through e-mail only.
