Virtual Messenger
is compatible with Windows 95/98/2000/XP operating systems. We recommend
you download the standard version. Your system should have at least
a 350MHz Pentium II (or equivalent) processor with 96MB RAM and
a 3D video card.
Virtual Messenger Setup
- Download
your preferred version of Virtual Messenger installation
- Run
VMSetup.exe
- Carefully
read the end user license agreement and proceed to install if
you agree with the terms.
- Set
up your firewall and/or routers to allow incoming connections
on three ports of your selection (see Technical
Help section of this website for assistance).
- Start
Virtual Messenger.
- Create
a new account from the logon screen.
- From
the desktop main menu, setup your Display, Avatar, Text-To-Speech,
and Private Room settings.
- Have
fun, you're done.
Upgrades
Virtual Messenger is not a static system. The product
will continually evolve using self-upgrade technology. New features will be added
and fixes will be relaeased for any problems as they are identified. We will
also provide you with new environments and avatars to explore and
connect with others.
